What this site collects

This website does not store your details on a server. When you book a discovery call at book.smartislander.com, the name, email and any notes you enter are used to create the meeting on Smart Islander VA's Google Calendar and send you a Google Calendar invite with a Google Meet link. Google's privacy policy applies to the calendar invite and the call, and the call may be transcribed by a note-taking tool so nothing gets missed. If you email or call instead, your message reaches Smart Islander VA like any other email or call.

If you fill in the social media questionnaire at discovery.smartislander.com, your answers are emailed straight to ronnie@smartislander.com. They aren't kept on the website. Your browser saves a draft on your own device until you press Submit, so you can pick up where you left off.

How your message is used

• To prepare for and hold your discovery call, and discuss a possible engagement
• To research your market and plan your social media, if you filled in the questionnaire
• To keep a record of our conversation if we work together

Your details are never sold or shared for marketing.

Third-party content

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, a map from Google Maps and booking times from book.smartislander.com, which reads availability from Google Calendar. Those services may receive your IP address as part of loading that content, under Google's own privacy terms.

Client data

For client work, access is kept to what each task needs, accounts are protected with password managers and two-factor sign-in, and access is removed when an engagement ends. The Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) guides how personal information is handled.
